:What can be put in with a red belly piranha nd not be eaten? A friend of mine has a large Oscar, a snakefish, and a Piranha together in a 29 gallon tank and they all seem to get along until feeding time.

:Can any other fish be in withthe piranha or not?

I have two red bellies, 1 oscar, and 2 covict cichlids living together for almost 4 months now. There have never been any major problem but the pirnahs will nip the fis off the other fish a tiy bit -- no big deal. The key is that you need to introduce ALL OF THE FISH AT THE SAME!!!!!!!!!! I say this because I have tried to add many other fish ( most cichlids) that are much larger than the covicts but the piranhas ended up eating them cause they didnt want them in their terrirtory. Overall most larger ad faster type fish ca live well with red bellies but you can't introduce them after the piranhas have claimed the tak as their own.
Sincerly,
Keith

P.S- My oscar is about the same size as my piranhas and HE is the one I always see chaing the pirahas around!!
