I would be that you are over feeding. Feed less and twice a day instead of once. Don't follow the insturctions of as much as they will eat in 5 minutes. Just a couple of small flakes is all they need. I fed different foods to my parrots. Anything made for Chiclids is fine. Pellets are fine
:I have 2 parrot fish in a 55 gallon tank. I feed them regular tetramin flake food. Is this ok, I notice they make a real mess while eating the flakes. has anyone tried feeding their parrots medium sized pellets. Would pellets be better than the flakes?
