Three days ago I noticed that my two-year old parrot had a red spot between his eyes. Today I noticed that the spot had become ulcerated like with these white spindly (thread looking) things emerging from the area. I have a 55-gallon tank with two parrots, one oscar, one plex, and one black cat. At first I had thought that perhaps 'Rocky' had hit his head on a piece of driftwood. Upon looking at it today I was wondering if he might have gotten horned or wounded by my black cat. I need some help on this I don't want to infect everyone else if this is something contagious. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
