I have an unusual fish too. I bought it because it looked like a tiger. Bright orange with black stripes running down the sides. I knew when I bought it that more then likely it wasn't natural but it was a really nice looking fish. 1/2 a year later, the orange has faded but the stripes are still there.

I actually thought that the stripes were somehow planted but could never find any information on it.

I would be interested in knowing if you ever find out about your fish.
