Regarding the last two posts, how have your eels displayed intelligence or lack thereof... I personally figured whether he'd be able to catch his prey or not (I feed only live prey)

:and by the time I got home he was pretty dry & covered in dog hair/carpet lint. That'll really show you how clean your floors are! That was 2 1/2 years ago and he's fine now. I too was worried about brain damage but never found any info pertaining to that. He's very smart and seems perfectly healthy.
