My husband, daughter and I started our salt water a lil'over 2 years ago, and our first pet in there was our zebra eel "Mutumbo". I could never stand to look at an eel, but he was cute. I still wouldn't touch him though. My daughter basically grew up with him, she is 2. Yesterday though, my husband was cleaning the aquarium out and noticed Mutumbo wasn't greeting him like usual. So he went and grabbed at him to see if he was okay. When he touched him he notice the filter move. Our Mutumbo got his head stuck in it, and he parished. I never thought that I could actually grow attached to that thing, and I really didn't think I was until that happened. We have plenty of other fish, but he was my favourite, and it had taken me until now to realize that. I am located in Southern Ontario, and I am hoping that we can find a reasonably priced eel, because the aquarium is not the same without him. This is the first time I have had an aquarium like this. If you have any places that I can go to, please let me no. I also would like to say that my husband was the one who had got me into this hobby. He had a 750 gallon aquarium that he had built for sharks. We now have a 170 gallon aquarium that he built. I think that it was a great investment.
