:Since eels produce so much waste what can be done to keep nitrates and the rest of the cycle under control without starving your eel to death?

I have the same problem in my tank. I have one Eel and four groupers and two lion fish. I have purchased an item called a Nitratereductor from Aqua-Medic. I will update you when I get ti set up which according to the book is about two weeks. But I would like to hear any other ideas that might work.
