How do you think a whitemouth would do?

:Tesselattas get to over 7 feet are very aggressive and will eat all of your fish that fit within its jaws. The above recommendations are all good.
::Snow Flake eel are really good as they don't get to large and aren't that aggressive. Also Zebra eels are not that aggressive but do get large, but in a 200 gal tank it would be fine, and are some what clumsy in the tank.

::Most eels will get large and are aggressive but if you get a small one and have a large tank, 200 gals, and alot of hiding spaces and large aggressive fish, Angels, Triggers, Puffers, Groups and Lion fish you should be ok but you need to make sure the eel is well feed as if not if will attach the other fish in a feeding frenzy.

:::Thanks for the advise. I had read somewhere that the tesselata was not that aggressive toward other tank mates and it was the only moray worth having in the tank because the other morays got to big and mean. I guess that's a bunch of bs. could you recommend some morays that might not get so big and aggresive? i have had my fish now for 2 years now and i would like to keep them out of the food catagory. Thx, Dean

::::Tesselata is a very aggressive eel and activily hunts. I wouldn't put it in the 90gal tank right now with the other fish specially the cimmon clown because of the size. In the 200gal tank you should be ok for a while, just make sure that you have alot of hiding spaces for the fish. The Tesselata will get very large and very aggressive so he will attack most of the other fish.

:::::i am about to add a tesselata eel to a 90 gal tank with a good size lion, a 4" clown trigger, a 5" panther grouper and a 3-1/2" cinnamon clown. i am shopping for a corner tank around 200 gal. for these guys to move into. i am trying to get the eel at 1-1/2' long. i am just looking for feedback to make sure all my fish stay happy with the addition of the eel and what i should know about the eel to make him happy :) thx, Dean
