Fry tank is 8 gallon. Currently holds25-30 babies. 7 are born end of Jan 2003, remaining born 2nd week of Feb 2003. All doing well. Problem is tank is crowded. Ammonia is high. -Ph is around 6. I'm going to vacuum gravel & do 50% water change. Will con't to do 25% water changes every other day.
Had problem with the upstairs tank, but it seems settled now. Was going to move some fry out but upstairs tank;s PH is around 8. Ammonia 0. With the differences in PH,can I move some fry? What if I had them in a bucket with their current water. If I add water from the 10 gallon tank gradually would that work????
I'm anxious to move some fry out of the 8 gallon tank... any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
