We need more info since what your are describing sounds like poor water quality and/or poor nutrition. What size tank are they in? How many and what types of fish are in this tank? What are your ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate levels? How often do you clean the tank? How much and how often do you feed them? What type of foods are you feeding them? How long has the tank been setup? How long have you had these fish?
