:How do I tell if my balloon mollies are pregnant or not? They are black so I can't see a gravid spot and they are naturally fat so there's no help there. They were in with male so im guessing they are but I want to have a clue as to how close they are to giving birth. Also, on average how many fry do balloon mollies have? Thanks for the help!!!

If they were in with males, then you are pretty much guaranteed they are pregnant. How long have you had them? On average they will have between 20 and 40 fry.
