Today, we purchased a bunch of crabs- red clawed, fiddler, soapdish and tree crabs. We have spent many hours researching these animals before buying them, but have had trouble finding reliable information, as everyone seems to disagree on their care. We have even had trouble determining what exactly soapdish crabs are as we have found them referred to as moon crabs, jungle crabs, rainbow crabs and halloween crabs. Are these all names for the sam animal? Any information on any of these delightful species would be appreciated. Also, if anyone knows the latin names of these species could you please post them?
