Just wanted to thank you for your help. I took your advice, and my 110 gallon tank (48 by 18 by 31) has seven 2.5 to 3.5 inches long CL, who seem very happy and who feast on sinking Hikari wafers and algae wafers, eleven ridiculously active rosy barbs and one gourami. When algae starts in, I will be adding five otos. I am thinking of adding one to three angels, which I may or may not do, and that is it. I also changed my filtration to two 2215 Eheim canister filters.
One other thing: How long until your loaches came ot the surface to eat from your hand?
