Hi all.

I'm from the UK and have been keeping fish for around 8 years. I still have my very first fish, a common Plec called Magic. I've kept clown and Pakistani loaches, but my main focus has been on catfish, dwarf cichlids and various oddballs. I have just come accross some Botia sidthimunki, which us Brits call Dwarf Chain Loaches, for the first time. I have longed for some for aa while and I've been doing my reading up. It seems they require very good quality water with a pH arouind 6.5 and low hardness. This is essentailly how I run Magic's tank, but pH is up around 6.7. I am planning on buying 4, as they are very expensive, but I am prepared to get more if required.

I just thought I would post and ask if anyone here had any experiences with this fish, as I heard it can be quite difficult. Also any thoughts on my set up is appreciated. It is 39insx15insx24ins, filtered with an undergravel and external filters and planted with Nymphea and onion bulbs.
