it truly is not enough space for active fish like Balas who will easily reach 14" each and have been known to get much larger.

I would increase the number of CL's...I like odd numbers so 7 or 9 would be good. The more you have, the more comfortable and hysterical they are! :-D

The giant danios need to be kept in a school of 6 or more...but 20 will be too much for your tank. I would not have any more than 10 in there...and be sure to have a lid on your tank...they are active fish who love to jump!

The dimensions of your tank (if a standard 100 gallon) would be 72 1/2 x 18 1/2 x 19 3/8

Some good tank mates for the giant danios and the CL's are larger tetras, gouramis, angelfish, & rasboras.

100 gallon fake-plants-only community tank that I am thinking will have five clown loaches, a bristle-nose catfish or two, and some other fish (probably five or six bala sharks and twenty giant danios).

Do any of you have any issues with that tentative list? Suggestions for compatible tankmates?
