of fish...many who have very specific needs that would not be compatible with the needs of clown loaches.

If you know exactly the type of cichlids you have, go on over to the Freshwater Forum, and ask liv2padl if clown loaches would be compatible with what you have...he is extremely knowledgeable abut all cichlids and could answer you more specifically.

Finally, I would not get any additional fish at all until you have a handle on keeping the ones you have clean and in order. No point adding bio load when you are already have a tough time keeping on track.

:can you put the loaches in with cichlids when they get bigger? my snail problem is in a 40 gallon hexagon tank. you can barely see into the water there are so many snails. i have done a piss poor job of taking care of that tank since i moved a few months ago. i do have a 55 gallon tank with a few cichlids which has a LOT of hiding spaces. will the clownss be ok in the tank with them?

:thanks
