:I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with their lionfish dieing the same day that the exterminator came? We have two medium sized lionfish, both of which died at the same time (which makes me kind of suspicious). I was wondering if the chemicals that the exterminator used could have accidently killed the fish. The chemical that was used was Cyano at .025%. If anyone has any info. I would greatly appreciate it.

Well, the chemicals are a poison. Did you cover your tank? Stop all filters, and skimmers? Tell the exterminator not to spray around the tank? Open a window afterwards and run a fan out the window?
Sorry to hear about your lionfish, but anything harmful (airborne) can easily enter your water and should be avoided around your tank.
