: The new added pebbles would be the cause of your problem always allow to simmer the pebbles for a week or two and clean it for a week each day cause some pebbles carries harmful minerals which causes for your koi to hang in the tank this problem not much happen on koi ponds since mostly dont add pebbles while aquarium tank do use pebbles this might be the cause.

: : I purchased several Koi for a future pond and kept them in a 5ft tank and they seemed to be doing ok, I came upon an 8 ft tank and decided to give them more space. Since there introducton they have lost their zest and spend most of the day hanging in the centre of the tank. Would it help to warm the water??
: : Help.
