Overcrowding wont make the fish hanging on the center of the tank. How did overcrowding happens since its from a 4ft. transfered to a bigger tank and its became overcrowding its impossible. Even its overcrowded the fish wont hang.
: how many gallons are in this 4ft tank or 8ft tank? and how many koi are in there, how big are they? Have you done any water test? (ammonia, nitrIte and nitrAte) I'm guessing that you have too much fish in Too small an area and that water quality is to blame.

: Start doing Lots of water changes on this tank to give you fish a chance.
