nitrate levels??? Did you transfer your old filter or filter media over to the new tank?
If not, you may have toxic levels of ammonia in the tank as it begins to cycle all over again.

Take your water tests and do an immediate partial water change.
I need more info about your tank in order to make a halfway educated guess.

Are you salting your water?
Did you use a chlorine or chloramine remover?


: I purchased several Koi for a future pond and kept them in a 5ft tank and they seemed to be doing ok, I came upon an 8 ft tank and decided to give them more space. Since there introducton they have lost their zest and spend most of the day hanging in the centre of the tank. Would it help to warm the water??
