how many gallons are in this 4ft tank or 8ft tank? and how many koi are in there, how big are they? Have you done any water test? (ammonia, nitrIte and nitrAte) I'm guessing that you have too much fish in Too small an area and that water quality is to blame.

I hope this future pond isn't too far into the future.

Start doing Lots of water changes on this tank to give you fish a chance.

How much and how often are you feeding them? whats the temperature of the water?
