I didn't listen to your advise, people, and got a trio of Ganderi(?) Killifish. Well, they were fine and dandy for about a month, growing really fast and eating really well. I was happy. Then they started droping, one by one. The male was the last to go. The only thing I can think that could have happened was that I never checked the PH that those fish were accustomed too. My tank is at 6.8ish, I test every week. I have this set up as a S. American setup, with a bunch of odd plecos, some platies, and a group of Angels that I got AFTER the fish died and some Blue Botias to add some color. Now, was the PH too low for them, or do you think it was somthing else. I fed them flake in the morning, frozen at night, and did water changes AT LEAST every other week, usually more often then that to keep up with the pleco mess. The tank is lightly planted, with Cabomba, Anubias, Higro, and the Wally World Bulb Lilies, along with a small clump of Java Moss (cuz I heard they spawed in that). Ammonia and Nitrates/Nitrites are nonexsistant. Ph, again, 7.0-6.6. Tank size is 55 and has been running with new gravel for nearly a year now. I'd like to get more killis, but I wanna fix this problem first. Are killis really hard to take care of, or was it all me? Thanks.
