I work at a public aqaurium with horsecrabs on display. Every time we get a new shipment, the crabs are very confused and active for about a week. The run around in circles and constantly flip themselves, and each other onto there backs. After the first week they usually calm down signifcantly though.
:I just received three horseshoe crabs via airmail. The two larger ones are very disorientated, don't seem to know up from down. I have a gravel/shell bottom, do I need sand?
