Ok, I just did this yesterday and I was wondering if I was doing the right thing or not. My female who has already had 2 batches or fry started acting really really weird. Her back started to look hunched but her stomache was completely flat. She is generally less active, and its already been 2 weeks, but she was fine when she had them. Sometimes she'll start to float at the bottom of the tank, and then start swimming again. This morning I was doing a ruitine water change in my fry tank, and I needed more water in my main tank, soo... I took some water from my fry tank and added it to the main one because all of my fry are doing very very well. I didnt want to risk putting more chlorine or anything in the water into the large tank and kill the female. She is already seeming to look better, and she is swimming a lot more now.. do you suppose putting the water in added more good bacteria? (*I looked at the disease page that Cindy posted, and she did not have swimbladder) I tested the water and it was fine before I put more water in, and even better once I put it in, and all the other fish are fine.
Thanks in advance,
Courtney
