well i'm in australia and you cant buy antibiotics readily here, certainly not medicated food. The food i feed her is err... nutrifin tropical flake stuff, good quality stuff. My neighbour has guppies and she had the same problem, after seeking out some antibioitcs for the water (costed alot of dosh!) and it didn't work, she still died.
I cant exactly tell how old she is, because she was fully grown when i bought her, but shes been in my tank for about.... 5-6months with no problems, no new additions to the tank either, no spikes etc.
The temperature here is tropical so we dont use heaters because its already hot enough throughout the year. so yea.....i dont know... i'm completely lost on what it is. Also i cant see any external parasites, and there is no abnormalities externally except for the fact that shes getting skinnier by the day.
