What are you feeding the guppies? This happened before? How long have you had the female? What does her fecal matter look like? Is the fish eating?
I suspect internal parasite of some sort, but am not certain at this point. Let me know what you're feeding them and how old the female is first.
If it is internal parasites, you'll need to feed the fish treated food and you'll need to do this immediately. Aquatronics makes a product called Disco-Med, so hope you're able to find some if needed. Know that this product will kill your nitrifying bacteria, so if you do use it, you'll need to watch water parameters.
Let's look at everything though first, and I'll see if I can find you a home-made recipe to treat the fish with.
:i posted this same question before but no one answered. So now i have the problem again. My female who has been fine for ages has suddenly gone all skinny like. She eats fine, is in a totally cycled tank and all parameters are within normal limits. From past experience all guppy's who come down with this "skinny" disease die within a week. The tank also has a little salt in there, so whats going on?? because i'm totally baffled..
