I tried algie destroyer and had a negative reaction and have been "afraid" to use it since.

After that experience I bought a tiny little "chinese" algie eater, and boy "Ming Sue" has GROWN into a huge algie eater (at least 5 inches, when she first joined out family a several months ago she was about and inch long) anyhow, "Ming Sue" does a GREAT job of keeping the tank clean. She comes out at night and spends most of the day in hiding, but it's apparent she is eatting something :)

I also recomend less fish in a 10 gallon tank...I was worried about having 9 guppies in a 10 gallon tank :)

Oh and a 50% water change wouldn't hurt.

When my newborn fry (2 weeks old or less) get together they always huddle, I think because the other fish are hunting them :)

Good Luck!!!
