well if you remember my other posts about my two 12-13 in. comets i caught at the lake, i went back about 2 weeks ago and a man there caught one. he hooked it pretty badly but i put him in the water and it stoped. all three are still alive in our pond. the pond is not completly full but in the spring i am planning on putting it in the ground. if you dont remember or know, i live in tucson az and we're lucky if we get hail. anyways, the temperature in the pond is around 50-60 ddegrees f. at what temp. do they usually start eating? i keep feeding them floating pond food but they wont eat.
i even put goldfish flakes in there but they wont eat that either. i put like 14 feeders in the pond to feed our bass and one was bit in half later on. is it possible they will eat the feeders due to being taken from a lake? or is it just possible they dont eat in the cold.
sorry if i havent sent those of you a pic who requested a pic but i will take one in the pond w/ all three of them asap.
well thank you all.
