Hope you haven't lost them already. This sounds like it could be a few different diseases.
what exactly do this pink spots look like? How big are they? Are they fuzzy,or waxy? Did they appear on the fish that you expect has fin rot first? Where on the fish are they? How dark are they?
The limp dorsal fin coould either be due to the fact that the fish is sick, or, ocassionally, a fish's dorsal just happens to flop over as it grows. I would think it would be the former cause, though.
The best you can do right now is:
Get them seperated
Get them in a much bigger tank
Find a good medication for fin rot
Get the temp to 72-74 degrees (a little higher than normally suggested, but good for sick goldfish)
Check your ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates
Good luck
: Hello,
: Thanks for reading this post, I trust that the experts here will have the information that I need. My friend has three very sick goldfish. 1 RedCap Ranchu, 1 Ryukin, 1 fancy comet. They are pink in color ( normally white ) in blotches, it looks light internal bleeding? The Fancy Comet is developing fin rot. The fancy comet also has a limp dorsal fin. This has all come into play in the past 48 hours. They are in a 10 gallon tank. I know about the stress factor, but this is all that they have at the time, they will soon be getting a larger tank. I told them to quarentine the fish, but now we need to know what is wrong with them, and how to treat the problem. All of the fish are emitting lethargy.
: I beg of your urgent advise.
: Best,
