I have never owned any GF that small, but if one hasn't grown in a year and a half, and the other two grew less than a third of an inch, it sounds like there is another problem here. Mine all grow at least two inches a year, and even the fry from this spring's spawning (at my LFS) are all over an inch long now. You obviously have them in big enough tanks, are you still doing weekly partial water changes? What and how much/often do you feed them?
I could be wrong, but that sounds too slow a growth rate for a year and a half.
