Mudskippers

Hi group,
I've never had brackish fish before, and I want to get a mudskipper. I want to put him in a 10 gallon tank with 3.5 inches of water, rocks and 2 "hills" of gravel. Under one of the piles I want to bury a sponge filter so that only the spout shows, for water movement, and aeration mainly. For food, I will keep baby guppies in the water and a cricket or 2. Is there anything else I can feed him? Also, how can I keep the tank humid when the room it is in is not, I don't want to use a light that the mudskipper won't like. Thanks,

Ryan
