The small eggs are laid in large caves, such as a coconut shell half. Both parents care for the eggs, which hatch within about two days, resulting in about 1000 larvae. The eggs/larvae can be removed for rearing - offer marine rotifers or try egg suspension or liquifry if rotifers are unavailable. Good luck! They are rarely bred in captivity, which is a shame.
