:I haven't done alot in in depth research on how big Upside Down catfish get. But when I get my tank next month im going to get a few
As I recall they don't get very big at all, which may present a problem for them as the rays grow. Couple this with their rather prominent pectoral rays, (barbed I believe..) they may pose a somewhat serious hazard for the Stingrays, as these guys tend to jump smaller fish they seem to know they cant eat for what looks like the fun of it. Should this activity seriously spook the upside down catfish (I dont really recall, but I don't think Synodontis are overly relaxed....) it may well injure the ray in it's attempts at escape. Then again, might not. Personally, I have come to the point where I dont keep much of anything that will pose a danger to my rays in the same tank as them. JMHO
