Alas, no, the hystrix expired the next day. I had failed to do water changes for a while, then while I was gone a filter tube became clogged with plants, essentially shuting it down, so I imagine it was a case of nitrate/nitrite poisoning. The large male is doing good now, although he seems a bit lost without the other two.
