I bought a new TV last weekend - much bigger than the one in the present unit I got - so I had to rebuild the unit to new specs (i designed and built it myself). I'm usually busy every night except maybe Sat or sun evenings. I actually got last night off though.
End result: I had to put her in a bucket while I took apart the unit and rebuilt it... I was done with the bottom part, starting the top part, when someone in my house tried to move the top part out of their way (i put it in the hall while I did the bottom part)
*CRACK* - they picked it up from one side. At 10:30, no where to get wood, I just finished the top part. I bought more wood and had it cut in the morning before I went to work, but I won't be home until 9:30 tonight.
Poor thing is living in a bucket with a heater and an airstone. I feel so bad for it. Tonight I'll prob be up again late finishing the shelf and filling up her tank...

:sounds like your ray had a hard time! personally i would leave the lights off offer blackworms to get it to eat then /or ghost shrimp once eating rays can be hardy just keep up on the water changes !! aj
