I've been researching freshwater stingrays for the past few weeks in hopes of being able to keep a few. I really want to be sure I'll be able to provide for one or two rays before I go ahead and purchase any. Size is my only concern at this point, and I have read a lot of conficting info regarding this.

I was wondering if anyone with some experience would be able to suggest the best ray for me (if any) that could be housed adequately in a 48" x 18" x 18" aquarium (this is the largest aquarium I will be able to accomodate for at least the next 3 years.

I am particularly fond of Potamotrygon henlei and Potamotrygon motoro.

Thanks in advance to all who can offer me some input, and sorry for the newbie question :)
