:::hello,

:::i want to get some freshwater stingrays, but i have some questions:
:::i have a 120 gallon tank i have 5 or 6 oscar, a green terror, a jack demspoy, arrowanna, pacu, tiger shovelnose and i am suppose to have a redtail cat comoing in a week or so. these are all good size fish(the tiger is almost 18 inches). would a stingray make it in the tank? are they really hard to keep as i have heard? thanks in advance. happy thanksgiving

::Don't get a ray w/those tank mates!! He'll be dead in no time! I got rid of my cichlids before I got my ray. I only kept my bloody parrots cause they are very docile and I refuse to get rid of them!! You'd definately regret putting a ray w/your fish.
::BTW - do you know how big those RTC's get!!! 5 or 6 oscars ALONE max out your 120 gallon tank....

:Five or six oscars seriously overcrowd that tank, two oscars overcrowd it. Will, I highly suggest you learn more about the fish you currently have and provide the proper tank sizes for each of them before considering buying anymore.

:A 120-gallon tank is way to small for an adult redtail cat, tiger shovelnose, and an Arowana for them I would say 300+ gallon tank is needed and that is still not much room for a 3’ long fish. For what you have and the redtail I personally would go for 600-1000 gallon custom-made tank. As for a stingray I'd recommend doing as much research as possible before getting one. They are very sensitive and most of all they are illegal to own in some states. Like PHSplendens said LEARN MORE ABOUT THE FISH BEFOR BUYING THEM
