Electric eels show up in fish shops occasionally (I have seen quite a few this year, all about 10"-15" long), but be aware, these guys max out at around 7'-9' (and grow reasonably quickly),and can actually kill you, so are not recommended for any except the most experienced aquarists with 750+ gallon aquaria.
