:is your "rope eel" tan with two little things coming out of its nose? Does it have a flatish head or pointed? If its tan, flat headed, with the two little things coming out the front its actually a form of bichir, as opposed to a fresh water eel. They eat worms, little crustaceans (IE ghost shrimp) and will occasionally catch little fish. But I would stick with blood/black worms and the shrimp. You might check out the bichir forum for more pertinent info should that be the fish you have. Hope this helps! Guy
