My molly got huge and had that squared look. The day she had her babies, she ate less and didn't swim around as much. She sat near the bottom of the tank, barely moving. I kept a close eye on her and noticed the hole start to open up. I wasn't sure if she was pooping or having the babies. It opened wider and this bubble started to squeaze out. Was so cool to watch. Then it wiggled and a mini fish appeared. Then she turned around and ate it. Did this a few more times. I put her in a breeder net. I wasn't sure if I would stress her out & loose the batch, but I figured if she kept eating them I would have none left anyway. Silly me, didn't figure that she might eat so many and get full. She didn't have any more babies & I went to bed. Next morning she was very skinny & there were 40-50 babies in the bottom. I have about 25 - 30 remaining that are a month old and doing great.
