1. Minumum tank size for a single adult red aro is approx 200 gallons, 5-6 adult reds would require a large (7500 gallon) pond.
2. Red arowanas are quite expensive....good quality (nice colours) red aros will run you about $3000-$4000 each (at about 8").
3. Breeding red aros is not easy....it requires a fair bit of knowledge, experience, and space.
4. Lastly, red (Asian) aros are 100% illegal to import into or to even possess in the USA, so you may wish to consider the sliver/blue aros (same species), black aros, or Australian aros (S. jardini and S. leichardtii).....but be warned, adult aros of all species require much more than a 100 gallon tank to house even one fish.
