I have at least two very pregnant female guppies. A few days ago, I noticed three fry in the tank, and managed to rescue them before they were eaten. The only thing is, both my guppies still seem pregnant! It was suggested that one may have dropped a few fry out of stress, but wouldn't she have had the rest by now? The three she had seemed very well developed and are doing well. Also, my other female has very black gravid spots and a very large belly. However in the morning when i turn the lights on, her stomach seems smaller and her spots have gone rose. Yet by afternoon, they're black again and her belly is large once more. I'm getting horrendously confused.
Help!
