:I am not a beginner when it comes to setting up tanks for breeding. I just want to know if anyone knows how to hook up several 10g tanks together, so that each one doesn't need its own filter and air pump. I have seen this done at pet shops, dealers, breeders. Thank you...

run together? Additional considerations would be placement of the tanks. Are they all going to be on the same level side x side or will they be mounted over and under and/or stair-stepped?
Depending on how you wish to set these up and quantity (gals) and number of tanks will determine they type of filtration loop to handle this endeavor. Basically there are three ways to run your filtration loop. One envolves drilling each tank, another would incorperate "no-break" siphons emptying into a universal drain, then into a sump for processing, and a third would envolve the use of "J-tubes" which can connect tanks.
