...I have yet to find SAE in the 30+ fish stores I have checked (so far) in the St. Louis area - although I did find flying foxes at one LFS, so I am getting close. Only about half had otos, which only superficially resemble small CAE, their stripe is solid (not broken or checkered.) Virtually every one of the stores had CAE, usually identified only as "algae eaters," Which get HUGE and aggressive. I would almost bet my last paycheck that is what you had.
