I have recently bought several discus from a breeder and not only before buying them did I sacrifice all my beautiful angelfish, clown loaches, ghost knife and most importantly my elephant nose, but I also striped my entire tank of all its features to make discus keeping easier :( after alot of effort and lost $$$ I have several beautiful discus which are really a pleasure to keep. So much so that I have spent more money on a new 4ft (60gal) which is a step up from my 35gal tank.
I would like to ask all those experienced in discus how hard it is to breed them? how do I know what sex they are? and are bristle nose cat fish good to keep in their tank to clean algae?
