: : I have recently purchased a maroon clownfish and would like to get a percula clownfish in the future. Does anyone know if this is a good combination? I would hate to lose the maroon clownfish I already have.

: Mixing clownfish is usually asking for trouble. What size tank do you have? I wouldn't recommend it if you have less than a 125. They can be very territorial and aggressive in smaller tanks. Sorry to burst your bubble, but better safe than sorry!

i have a 29 gallon hex and have successfully kept 2 maroons, a perc and a cinnamon together. the only problem that i had was with the cinnamon being more aggressive towards my other clowns. lately the cinnamon seems to be leaving the other clowns alone, and my maroons and the percula seem very fond of each other. they can always be found right next to each other. so hopefully youll have the same luck if u decide to add a perc to your tank :)
