:::I know that the largest clownfish is a male, but what if you buy them from a local dealer which has had clownfish for awhile? Does it matter if you get the largest one? Can male clownfish transform back to females?

:: Correction, it`s the female that`s larger, and no, they do not have the will to change their sexes.

:Thank you for correcting me. SO since the dominant female is the largest any smaller sized ones will be fine correct?
What else is it you wan`t to know?, you need to say exactly what it is, and depending on which species of clown fish, the smaller can be pick on for they are territorial marine animals. And which of the clownfish species you have? unless your an expert in their sexes, it`ll be very hard to tell, so which clownfish you have? for you need to know also that their are a number of clownfish species, and every diffent species don`t grow the same size, so you need to know the name of the clownfish you have so you can lean what size they grow, then perhaps you can be able to make a determination on which can possibly be a female or male. ><{{{{"> Buddy
