Um, I'm sorry, this is simply not true. There is a debate on whether or not true and false perculas are just different morphs of the same species, but currently they are classified as two different ones: Amphiprion percula (True Percula) and Amphiprion ocellaris (False Percula). Being wild-caught or captive-bred has absolutely NOTHING to do with this distinction.
Physical differences: Percula clowns generally have more black bordering their white stripes than do Ocellaris clowns. However, in Australian waters, there are "black morphs" of both species. There are also some noted differences with their dorsal fins, including its shape and the number of fin rays.
