I can't speak for everyone else, but I just don't see the need to be creating hybrids when there are so many wonderful cichlids already created in nature. And their production leaves alot to be desired - how did they get two different species of fish to spawn, smacks of genetic modification. Also, most hybrids are likely to be infertile, so you can never watch the joys of a pair raising a brood, not that you'd want to raise hybrids. If the parents have been artificially hatched anyway, then it is likely they would eat their own eggs anyway. I don't know what these cichlids look like but just look at parrotfish, I don't consider that to be attractive.
