The female convict will "sweep" the bottom of the tank to kick up food for the fry. Very normal behavior on her part. This normally does not hurt the fry, they will follow her around while she does this.

:my pink and black convicts have laid eggs and 8 days later i have free-swimming babies! the female pink is going crazy trying to get rid of all the debris when she does this she doesnt care that fry are in the way and seems to i dont know , hurt the fry im not sure, is this normal?
